Ke

In nature, form rarely takes shape without reason.

Form is the outcome of growth; of pressure, tension, and the distribution of force.

Ke comes from the same logic: a continuous mass that seems to thicken where it must bear load, and to withdraw where no material is needed.

Its lines seem less designed than grown; like a stem rising from the ground, bending, and along its path becoming a place for the body.

Perhaps this is why, at first glance, we meet not an object but a being; a long growth that seems to have paused somewhere.

Sitting is a moment.

And Ke is growth, held still within that moment; the point at which body and form become tangent to one another.
